Evaluating Performance Technologies

As the rate of training and performance technology development increases, so doesn’t the necessity to evaluate the quality of those endeavors. Bring your ideas, experiences, and concerns as we take an interactive look at how to evaluate different types of training and technology, as well as illustrate the benefits of evaluation as a vital training component.

Michelle Baron is the Owner and Evaluation Consultant at The Evaluation Baron, LLC, an independent evaluation consulting group that specializes in evaluation capacity building for organizations in the education and business sectors.

Michelle has over 10 years of evaluation experience in education, business (for-profit, non-profit, NGOs), and military sectors. Her initiative, attention to detail, and project commitment has supported many organizations in program visibility and improvement. Considering evaluation to be a helping profession, Michelle continues to share her passion for evaluation at seminars, conferences, and other venues.

Michelle holds a Ph.D in Instructional Psychology & Technology, with an emphasis on evaluation and research, from Brigham Young University. Michelle also has a M.S. in Training and Development, with an emphasis in Instructional Technology, from Utah State University.
